BOH Palas Supreme from Malaysia
The BOH Palas Supreme is an exquisite orange pekoe from the first plucking, in which only the leaf bud and the two underlying leaves are plucked.
Like all BOH teas, the BOH Palas Supreme comes from the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. The Cameron Highlands are characterised in particular by their altitude of over 1,500 metres, temperate climate and acid soil. Perfect ingredients to grow particularly good tea.
The Palas Supreme variety is one of BOH’s four “Garden Teas”, which come pure and unmixed from a single tea garden in the Cameron Highlands and were selected for their exceptional character.
This delicate garden tea comes from the tea garden on the temperate tropical slopes of the Sungai Palas. It comes from the first harvest. In this harvest of the BOH Palas Supreme, only the leaf bud and the two underlying leaves are picked and processed.
The character of the Palas Supreme
The first thing you notice when tasting the BOH Palas Supreme is its exceptional and fine aroma.
The Palas Supreme is a slightly flowery, large-leaved FP (Flowery Pekoe) from the tea plant Ceylon and Assam with well-rolled leaves.
The tea leaves are naturally fermented in the air for 30 minutes. Thanks to the gentle short fermentation, this tea still contains valuable healthy active ingredients, almost like green tea.
Because of its pure and delicate fragrance, this amber tea is best drunk during the day.
Available in lots of 30 g, 100 g and 400 g refills.
This Garden Tea is also available as a pyramid bag in a decorative box.
