Chrysanthemum tea has a light golden colour when brewed and tastes sunny, fresh and clear with a delicate hint of mint.
Preparation: 1 gram (approx. 7 – 8 flowers) with approx. 300 ml, 90 degrees hot water pour over and let it brew for 3 minutes.
Chrysanthemum tea is used in the traditional Chinese naturopathy TCM to treat various physical ailments. It has a pleasant, slightly flowery aroma. In Korea, chrysanthemum tea is drunk together with meals to aid the digestion of fat.
