This tea consists of 100% of the leaves of the Korean Persimmon tree.
The Persimmon leaves of this tea are harvested at the beginning of June from wild trees in the mountains of the Honam region. Persimmon leaves are particularly rich in vitamin C and contain flavonoids, rutin, amino acids and other antioxidants. In Korea, Persimmon tea is mainly drunk to purify the body. According to Chinese naturopathy, Persimmon leaves are said to help alleviate the symptoms of arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and allergies.
