Earl Grey tea from the ”Seri Songket”, black tea collection by BOH
Exquisite Earl Grey from the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia, refined with the taste of sweet tangerines.
This variation of the famous classic combines the typical flavour of Earl Grey with the tangy-fresh taste of ripe tangerines to a refined and delicious tea, in a practical tea bag – for all those who are in a hurry! The tea bags are individually foiled – for the best aroma in every cup.
For this exquisite BOH Earl Grey from Malaysia, the citrus oil of the bergamot plant (which gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive character) is enriched with the tangy sweet aroma of exotic tangerines – a refreshing but not overpowering taste. The typical Earl Grey tea flavour harmonises perfectly with the citrus fruits and the distinctive black tea aroma is not overpowered.
Preparation recommendation: Bring fresh water to the boil (100° Celsius). Take a nice tea cup and pour about 200 ml of boiling water over one tea bag. Now let the tea steep for 3 – 5 minutes.
Ingredients: black tea leaves, orange peel, nature identical and natural bergamot flavour. Contains caffeine.
20 x 2g individually wrapped tea bags.
This black tea is part of BOH’s exceptional “Seri Songket” collection, featuring the exotic design of the Malaysian “Songket” pattern, which is partially depicted on the pack. The exquisite Songket fabric, interwoven with gold threads, is the traditional fabric of Peninsular Malaysia.
This Earl Grey tea is grown in the Cameron Highlands. These Highlands are located on the West Island of Malaysia. There, surrounded by evergreen, diverse jungle and unique architecture, is the BOH tea plantation. It is situated at an altitude of over 1,500 metres. This special climate and the acidic soil, among other things, produce very special teas.
