Black Tea Vanilla from Malaysia

125 g of exquisite highland black tea vanilla from the “Seri Songket” collection, harvested in the cool slopes of the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia. The tea is refined with aromatic vanilla flavour and packed in a decorative tin.

This exquisite black highland tea comes from BOH, the most famous tea brand in Malaysia. BOH has been producing the best black teas for over 90 years and is known beyond the borders of Malaysia. The tea is grown in the Cameron Highlands. These highlands are located on the West Island of Malaysia. There, surrounded by evergreen, diverse jungle and unique architecture, is the BOH tea plantation. It is located at an altitude of over 1,500 metres. This special climate and, among other things, the acidic soil produce very special teas.

This black tea vanilla is characterised by its irresistible blend. Delicate vanilla seduces your taste buds with a fascinating, wonderful aroma and gives this tea blend a rich and sweetly aromatic taste. The tannins of the black tea pair perfectly with it and round off the taste experience perfectly!

This BOH tea is part of BOH’s extraordinary “Seri Songket” collection, which bears the exotic design of the Malaysian “Songket” pattern. The exquisite Songket fabric, interwoven with gold threads, is the traditional fabric of Peninsular Malaysia and was used as the design for the tea caddies.

Preparation recommendation: Take about 1 teaspoon (2 g) of black tea vanilla per cup, about 150 ml. Boil the water, pour it over the tea and let it steep for 3 – 5 minutes, depending on taste. Tip: Use fresh water that has not already been boiled several times. The heat removes oxygen from the water. This is noticeable in the taste.

Recipe tip: Add a sip of milk and then sprinkle the tea with some grated chocolate. Delicious!
