BOH Tea with the rich flavour of passion fruit, 125 g loose
BOH Tea with passion fruit is a unique exotic black tea blend with an exceptionally fruity taste.
This delicacy thrives on the lush, green BOH Tea plantations. Black tea leaves, carefully picked and dried, meet tropical flavours after careful fermentation. This unique blend of the Boh Tea Company shines through its exoticism. The rich aroma of ripe passion fruits combined with fine black tea leaves results in a delicious tea with a sweet-smelling note.
This tea is part of BOH’s extraordinary “Seri Songket” collection, which bears the exotic design of the Malaysian “Songket” pattern. The exquisite Songket fabric, interwoven with gold threads, is the traditional fabric of Peninsular Malaysia.
Preparation recommendation: Bring water to boil. Only use fresh water that has not yet been boiled. If water is boiled too often, it will be deprived of oxygen, which will have a negative effect on the taste. Now take a cup and pour approx. 2 g of loose tea with approx. 200 ml of boiling water. Finally, let the tea steep for about 3-5 minutes. Now nothing stands in the way of your enjoyment.
BOH Tea preparation tip for summer: Enjoy the black tea passion fruit cooled with ice cubes as a refreshing iced tea for special tropical summer nights garnished with a hibiscus blossom!
Ingredients: black tea leaves, orange peel, nature identical passion fruit flavour. Contains caffeine
125 g loose tea in decorative tin
About BOH Tea: How did the Sungai Palace Tea Garden come into being?
BOH acquired the Sungei Palas Tea Garden in the 1950s. At that time, the land was in a desolate state and was far from what it is today. However, BOH’s then chief executive officer, Tristan Russell, saw the potential of Sungei Palas and over the years transformed it into a lush tea garden known throughout Malaysia and now beyond the country’s borders.
As tourism to Cameron Highlands continued to grow, BOH built the visitor centre and café in 2007. Named after BOH founder J.A. Russell, the J.A. Balcony, with its iconic overhanging balcony that also serves as a viewing platform, has made the Sungei Palas Tea Garden a must-visit destination in the Cameron Highlands. In 2019, a new section was added to the visitor centre. Aptly named ‘Tristan’s Terrace’, this section can accommodate 200 people and offers a magnificent panoramic view that only enhances the unique experience of hospitality and tea enjoyment that BOH Tea offers.
