BOH Black Tea Passion Fruit
The lush, green BOH tea plantations in Sungai Palace are home to this delicacy, a Malaysian tea: mature black tea leaves, carefully picked and dried and grown in the perfect climate. After careful fermentation, these black tea leaves are refined with tropical flavours. This unique blend of the Boh Tea Company shines through its exoticism. Robust Malaysian tea meets flavours of ripe sweet passion fruit, also called maracujas.
Malaysian tea is known and loved for its unique taste and exceptional aroma. The tea plants grow in the Cameron Highlands at an altitude of 1,500 metres. The special climate, the acidic soil and the careful cultivation make the tea a special taste experience. It definitely does not have to shy away from comparison with other teas from Asia. The Cameron Highlands are one of the most fertile locations in Malaysia. More than 70% of Malaysian teas are grown here.
With breathtaking landscapes and famous panoramic views, the plantations are also truly picturesque.
Preparation recommendation: Bring about 200 ml of water to a boil. If possible, use only fresh water, as stagnant water has a negative effect on the taste of your tea. Pour the boiling water over a tea bag. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes. Now nothing stands in the way of your enjoyment.
This tea is part of the extraordinary “Seri Songket” collection by BOH, which bears the exotic design of the Malaysian “Songket” pattern. The exquisite Songket fabric, interwoven with gold threads, is the traditional fabric of Peninsular Malaysia.
Ingredients: black tea leaves, orange peel, nature identical passion fruit flavour. Contains caffeine.
